What does Beauty mean to you?

Beauty, to me, is more than what the eyes can see! I absolutely love all things beauty and finding the beauty in everyone and everything. As a hair stylist and mentor, I'm able to be a part of aiding people in looking and feeling beautiful every day.

What does Ambition mean to you?

Ambition to me is having the drive, patience, and determination to accomplish your goals. Life has a way of throwing curve balls your way, but no matter what; once you set your goal, you have to keep pushing and working hard until you reach it.

If you could teach one lesson/or help someone younger than yourself what would you say?

If I could tell my younger self anything it would be to not let the harshness of the world to change you. It would be to follow the path that your heart and passions desire, which is not always the one most traveled. I started out studying International Business, but my passion was always beauty.  Never suppress your passion, it just delays your happiness. Sometimes it's hard to find the balance of remaining true to yourself while adapting to how others operate, but it's something one must learn to do.

Thank you Whitney! If you want to see more of her check out her Instagram page.
